Great Fire of London Workshop - Key Stage One
In this hands-on outdoor workshop, children explore the story of the Great Fire through exciting activities rooted in history, science, and D&T. Including our signature wattle & daub activity, they’ll engage with key curriculum objectives in a truly memorable way.
Our outdoor approach encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity—while supporting all learning styles. And with mud under their nails and ideas sparking in their minds, your class will leave with far more than just facts.
Although the children are not leaving school, this activity is not free. We have to pay to cover the cost of the historical specialist and their equipment to come to school.
The school now heavily subsidise trips and workshops from their Pupil Premium allocation so we would welcome a contribution of just £5 per child to help towards the cost of the experience. This will need to be paid using Parent Pay.
