Roses Murton Park Visit
To support their topic about World War Two, all the children in Y5/6 will be going to Murton Park to take part in the ‘Homefront Day’ Experience.
Children in Mrs Davies, Mrs Gregory and Mr Jessop’s class will go on Wednesday 18th March – Roses.
The coach has been booked to take the children to Murton Park at 8:30am – children need to be in school by 8:15am so we can arrive at the museum for a 10am start. We will set off from the museum at approximately 3pm so the children should be back in school by 4:15pm – they may be back a few minutes early or late depending on traffic. We will update you on Class Dojo if we are going to be late. If your child has permission to walk home, they will be released from 4:15pm unless we are made aware of other arrangements.
The children will require a packed lunch that day. However, if your child is entitled to a free school meal a separate letter is attached to complete and return if you wish to order sandwiches through school. The experience is outdoors so uniform, suitable footwear and a coat should be worn.
The school now heavily subsidise trips and workshops so we would welcome a contribution of just £15 per child to help towards the cost of the coach and the entry fee. The visit is actually costing £46 per child. Payments will need to be made on ParentPay but please return the permission slip. If we do not receive enough contributions, the visit may not take place.
