Rotherham Day 18th September 2026

Celebrating Rotherham Day ❤️

On 18th September 2026, we all came together to celebrate Rotherham Day!

We started the day bright and early inviting our children and families to join in the celebrations by wearing something red, tying red ribbons outside, taking part in an obstacle course and signing our special Rotherham Day flag.

A huge thank you to all our families, staff and visitors who generously donated to Rotherham Hospice. Your kindness and support are greatly appreciated.

In the afternoon, a group of children visited the Leisure Centre to take part in a special edition of the School Games, while another group proudly performed the Thornhill Rap for other schools from across the Rotherham community. We were so pleased to be part of the wider celebrations!

Throughout the day, we also enjoyed learning more about Rotherham, its history and the wonderful community we are part of.

It was certainly a busy day but, most importantly, it was a wonderful day filled with fun, learning, community spirit and lots of happy memories. ❤️
